Carla de la Fuente will be part of the Spanish team in the 2019 European Junior Championship

On June 17, 2019, the Royal Spanish Horse Riding Federation made public the list of pairs selected by the National Selection Committee to be part of the 2019 Spanish National Dressage Teams in the categories of Ponies, Children, Juniors, Young Riders and U-25 for the European Junior Dressage Championship Ch-J-YR-U25 2019 in San Giovanni in Marignano (Italy), from July 23 to 28, and the European Pony Dressage Championship 2019 in Strzegom (Poland), from 13 to 18 of August.

The Segovian rider of the Aequima Equestrian Club, Carla de la Fuente, became the head of the list in the Young Riders category (from 19 to 21 years old) after achieving first place with her mare Fay in the Master YR Championship held in the Equestrian Center of Castilla y León from June 3 to 9.

In the Masters, the teams that will represent Spain in the European Championship are selected. These selection tests have had the participation of more than 150 pairs from all over Spain.

This classification together with her career throughout the season has led Carla to lead the Spanish team in the 2019 European Junior Championship event to be held in San Giovanni in Marignano, province of Rimini, Italy, at the end of the month of July.

Currently, Carla occupies the 8th position in the world ranking in the latest publication of the FEI International Equestrian Federation.

Proud to represent Spain, from here we want to congratulate the entire team that makes up the Young Rider (YR) category and the rest of the pairs that make up the rest of the categories.
